Interpretation
“Approved Online Stores”
means (i) the official Apple App Store accessible at https://www.apple.com/sg/ios/app-store/ or such other successor site; (ii) the official Google Play accessible at https://play.google.com or such other successor site; and (iii) such other websites as may be specified by us from time to time.“Approved Recipient”
means the Public Agencies and third parties requesting for your information, and that are approved by you to receive your Profile Data upon your authorisation.“Compatible Device”
means a Device which meets or exceeds the requirements prescribed by us from time to time.“Content”
means any and all data, information, images, text, messages, notifications, digital content and/or media that may be uploaded, created, produced, generated, stored and/or transmitted through the Use of LifeSG or LifeSG Materials.“Device”
means a computer, laptop, mobile phone, smartphone, tablet, phablet, kiosk or other device from which LifeSG can be accessed and used.“Generated Content”
is defined in Clause 8.1.“Government Technology Agency”
means the Government Technology Agency, a body corporate established under the Government Technology Agency Act 2016.“Guidelines”
means any and all additional terms, instructions, guidelines, directions and/or policies with respect to any operational or technical details or FAQs regarding LifeSG and/or LifeSG Materials, as may be issued or amended by us from time to time.“Intellectual Property Rights”
means any and all rights existing from time to time, whether existing now or in the future, under any trademark law, copyright law, patent law, trade secret law and any and all other proprietary rights, and any and all applications, renewals, extensions and restorations thereof, now or hereafter in force and effect worldwide, or capable of protection in any relevant country in the world.“LifeSG”
means the service that helps citizens navigate easily across various government services and information according to categories (such as citizenship and community, driving and transport, education and learning, family and parenting, finances, sports and recreation, travel and passport, and work and employment) through such Devices, websites, channels or platform, as may be designated by us from time to time.“LifeSG Materials”
means any and all products (including the LifeSG App and LifeSG Website), services, features, works of authorship, documents, software, application programming interface (API), content, know-how, inventions, processes, designs and any other subject matter or materials, in whatever form or medium (including digital equivalents of all the aforementioned subject matter) supplied or made available to you in connection with LifeSG.“LifeSG Materials”
includes the feature known as GovWallet.“LifeSG App”
means the mobile application designed to provide a one-stop, convenient platform for citizens to access personalised government services and information at key life stages, known as “LifeSG”, from Approved Online Stores.“LifeSG Website”
refers to https://life.gov.sg or such other website as may be specified by us from time to time.“Myinfo”
refers to the data sharing platform under the name “Myinfo”, provided by the Government Technology Agency on behalf of the Government of Singapore, which you may use to authorise the automatic filling-out of e-forms of Approved Recipients with, among other things, your personal data.“PDPA”
means the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.“personal data”
has the same meaning as set out in the PDPA.“Privacy Statement”
is defined in Clause 12.1.“Profile Data”
means all data (including personal data) contained in your user profile under your Account and which may contain data populated by you through the use of Myinfo as well as other data from data source(s) approved by us.“Public Agency”
means any of the following entities/parties (except that in the case of the Government of Singapore and GovTech, only where the Government of Singapore and GovTech is not acting in its/their capacity as the provider or operator of LifeSG and LifeSG Materials):“Public Agencies”
means all of the aforementioned.“Re-Directed Materials”
is defined in Clause 11.1.“Shortcuts”

refers to www.singpass.gov.sg/main or such other website as may be specified by us from time to time.“Terms”
refers to the Terms of Use including the Annexures, as may be amended from time to time.“Third Party”

“Alerts”

means a mobile phone, smartphone, tablet, phablet, or other device from which GovWallet, via the LifeSG App, can be accessed and used;“Device Biometric Identification”
means each fingerprint enrolled by a Fingerprint Recognition Feature and/or each facial identification enrolled by a Face Recognition Feature on Registered Mobile Devices;“Face Recognition Feature(s)”
means such third party face recognition features designated as such by the Government of Singapore or GovTech from time to time, and will be deemed to include, unless otherwise notified by us, the face recognition feature of Apple’s iOS and the face recognition feature of Google Android on Devices that meet or exceed our requirements;“Fingerprint Recognition Feature(s)”
means third party fingerprint recognition features designated as such by the Government of Singapore or GovTech from time to time, and will be deemed to include, unless otherwise notified by us, the fingerprint recognition feature of Apple’s iOS and the fingerprint recognition feature of Google Android on Devices that meet or exceed our requirements;“GovWallet”
refers to the feature currently known as “GovWallet”, provided by the Government Technology Agency on behalf of the Government of Singapore which you may Use to view and redeem your Credits;“LifeSG Login Credentials”
means:“Qualified Merchants”
means merchants who are designated as participating in a Scheme by the relevant Public Agency under the relevant Scheme Terms or as otherwise published by such Public Agency;“Registered Mobile Devices”
means mobile devices enabled with the Fingerprint Recognition Features or Face Recognition Features, which have been registered with us for Use with GovWallet via the LifeSG App;“Singpass Login”
means such authentication, configuration, use and/or access procedures of Singpass enabled by us to identify you and/or for the purposes of allowing access to and/or use of GovWallet via the LifeSG App, as the case may be;“Singpass app”
means the mobile application designed to, amongst other things, be used as an authentication form factor, known as “Singpass” from Approved Online Stores and the official HUAWEI AppGallery accessible at https://appgallery.huawei.com or such other successor site, and used in connection with Singpass and your Singpass Account.“Scheme”
means the applicable scheme implemented and operated by the relevant Public Agency where you may be entitled to or be awarded Credits and which scheme has been designated by the Government of Singapore or GovTech from time to time as schemes that were onboarded onto GovWallet. The current list of designated schemes is available at https://wallet.gov.sg; and“Scheme Terms”

Use of GovWallet via the LifeSG App
Eligibility:
You acknowledge that your eligibility to receive, entitlement to and award of Credits is pursuant to the sole discretion of the relevant Public Agency. If you have Credits, Paragraph 4.1.2 (Scheme Terms) will apply.Singpass Account login required for Use of GovWallet.
To access and Use GovWallet, the LifeSG App will direct you to your Singpass app to login to your Singpass Account (in which case Paragraph 4.5 below applies). Upon successful login, you will be directed back to the LifeSG App and the module containing the relevant Scheme’s individual benefits card will be accessible;GovWallet’s features:

Schemes
Introduction to Schemes
: Each Scheme is the scheme or program of the relevant Public Agency and is implemented and operated by such Public Agency in accordance with the terms and conditions that are prescribed by such Public Agency for such Scheme as may be issued by the relevant Public Agency from time to time (such terms and conditions to be referred to as“Scheme Terms”
).Scheme Terms
: Your eligibility to receive, entitlement to and award of Credits under each Scheme and the terms for redeeming or otherwise using your Credits under such Scheme (including whether or not Credits are to be redeemed in fixed or variable denominated amounts, expiry date of Credits and the list of Qualified Merchants) are subject always to the relevant Scheme Terms, instructions, guidelines, directions and/or policies published by the relevant Public Agency and may have a bearing on your Use of GovWallet. Please check and ensure that any relevant Scheme Terms, instructions, guidelines, directions and/or policies from Public Agencies (including Scheme Terms relating to contractual notice periods, legal enforceability of notices and communications) have been complied with or that you meet the requirements or conditions set under such Scheme Terms.Credits under each Scheme
Credits funded by Public Agencies
: Credits under each Scheme are funded by the relevant Public Agency. You acknowledge that we (save for the relevant Public Agency administering the Scheme) are not involved in and are not responsible for any funding of Credits.No encashment or conversion of Credits into other forms of credit
: You acknowledge that you can only redeem your Credits under each Scheme with Qualified Merchants either through online or offline means in accordance with the Scheme Terms. GovWallet does not support any encashment of your Credits under any circumstances or of converting Credits into any other form of credits (for example, Credits may not be used to pay for goods or services of a lower value with the difference being paid in cash or by means of a credit note).Rules for redeeming your Credits for each Scheme
Checking Qualified Merchant’s QR Code
: You agree to take reasonable steps to confirm that each QR Code presented to you purportedly as a Qualified Merchant’s QR Code is that of a Qualified Merchant’s under the relevant Scheme, including checking that the name displayed on the GovWallet module described in Paragraph 3.1.2 above in the LifeSG App corresponds to that of the Qualified Merchant, prior to the redemption of your Credits.Your use of Device Biometric Information
: We are not required and are unable to verify or investigate whether any Device Biometric Identification used in connection with a request to redeem your Credits is in fact your fingerprint or facial identification. This is because the Device Biometric Identification relies on third party Fingerprint Recognition Feature(s) and Face Recognition Feature(s).Redemption of Credits as part payment
: If you redeem the Credits for part payment for goods and/or services where the value of the goods and/or services offered by Qualified Merchants exceeds such part payment, you will be required to top up the difference using a mode of payment accepted by such Qualified Merchant. You understand and agree that by redeeming the Credits for part payment, you agree to and are confirming your payment towards the purchase of goods and/or services offered by Qualified Merchants, and we will not be required to reverse, refund or cancel the redemption of Credits if you are unable to top up the difference.Binding and conclusive
: You acknowledge and agree that your Credits balance reflected on GovWallet via the LifeSG App (whether such reflected balance is upon your successful redemption of Credits in GovWallet or otherwise) shall be binding and conclusive on you for all purposes whatsoever and shall be conclusive evidence of any information and/or data transmitted between us, the relevant Public Agency and you. You hereby agree that all such records are admissible in evidence and that you shall not challenge or dispute the admissibility, reliability, accuracy or the authenticity of such records merely on the basis that such records are in electronic form or are the output of a computer system, and you hereby waive any of your rights, if any, to so object.Redemption limits
. We or the relevant Public Agency may, from time to time, impose redemption limits (such as maximum redemption amounts) in connection with GovWallet or vary the frequency or manner of use of GovWallet.Unauthorised redemptions
: You must notify the relevant Public Agency immediately if you know or suspect that your Credits may have or have been redeemed without your consent or authorisation.User complaints
: You acknowledge and agree that we (save for the relevant Public Agency administering the Scheme) are not responsible for and have no control over the Content (including information on your Credits) for the Schemes contained in GovWallet. In the event of any inaccuracy or error in the Content for any Scheme in GovWallet (including conflicts or inconsistencies with communications received from the relevant Public Agency through other media or modes) or otherwise any issues relating to the Content for any Scheme (including issues with viewing or redeeming your Credits), please contact the relevant Public Agency for assistance.Singpass Terms

Exclusion of liability
: Notwithstanding Clause 10.2, you will be responsible for any and all losses, costs, expenses or damages suffered by you, us, or any third party, arising out of or in connection with your Use of GovWallet and we will not be liable for any such losses, costs, expenses or damages.Alerts
: You may receive Alerts from time to time in relation to GovWallet, including notifying you of the expiry of Credits or any unread messages on the LifeSG App. Each Alert may be notified by in-app notifications, mobile push notifications or any other method of notification as may be designated by us from time to time. We do not guarantee the delivery, timeliness or accuracy of Alerts. We reserve the right to vary any Alert and to terminate the provision of the Content in the Alerts at any time without giving any reason or prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or anyone else for losses, damages, fines or claims arising from:Indemnification

Force majeure
: Without prejudice to Paragraph 5 above, we shall not be liable for any failure, delay, interruption or error in the performance of our obligations under the Agreement (or any part thereof) or for any inaccuracy, unreliability or unsuitability of GovWallet and/or any GovWallet Features if this is due, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly to an event or failure which is beyond our reasonable control.
